We started Kingdom Commune because our voice on Medium.com was shut by the liberal wing of the platform. Reason? This post.
We created our very own infrastructure from scratch to make sure that the words voiced for God, would never be shut down or filtered by the politics of the world.
Where we went wrong?
When I say “we” – I really only refer to myself.
Being a seminarian (and a student of theology), it is challenging for me to juggle quality content creation while fulfilling academic and other responsibilities. When you couple it with my own limitations and consistency, it’s like a log swinging towards a house of cards.
Also, during my practical work exposure from Bishop’s College – I was working in Antara Psychiatric Hospital. The exposure significantly impacted by ministry and theology as I came across many forms of suffering, and at times I found myself severely lacking to provide any consolation to some people.
(As a first-year student, I am not expected to be highly equipped with counselling skills, but I AM responsible to God and not any institution. Having been bestowed with many God-given talents, I am accountable for their utilisation for His glory. I took time to pause and reflect on my impact.)
What now?
We will focus mainly on two activities for the rest of 2025:
- Grow the Commune: presently, I am the only active member of the commune. Through activities and participation, I am targeting to reach at least three commune members by the end of the year.
- Prayers & Worship Service: starting 25th December 2025, we are going to hold short Sunday Worship services to glorify God and serve Him together through the commune.
Ensuring stable and focused commitment to God, by His grace we shall overcome all barriers to help establish the Kingdom of God on earth.
*Our service will be shared on our official Instagram.
