Kingdom Commune

Propagating and Defending the Christian Truth and Life

Amidst the darkness of the world and false teachings in churches, a calling is upon us to rise from the masses and hold with purity the true Christian life. Lack of understanding regarding our traditions is the primary reason for the Church drifting away from God. As the faithful flock of LORD Jesus Christ, let us use the blessings of wisdom and understanding to understand the word of God instead of weaving His holiness into our deceptive patterns for gratification of the flesh.

Can we truly call ourselves Christians, if we don’t even follow the teachings of Christ? A false testimony of our faith is a form of neo-hereticism leading people astray from the truth of Christianity. We see Christians who judge, hate, gossip, plot- is that the work of the Holy Spirit? Certainly as Christ Himself emphasised, it is as important to do the will of God as it is to call Jesus our “Lord”.

As sinners, we can only be saved by our faith through His grace. And as James reminded us, it is our works that testify our faith. Therefore, even if we fall ourselves- let us conserve the true path of God. Let us keep the light burning so that believers may find Him instead of getting lost in the darkness of false teachers.

Kingdom Commune exists with the purpose of staying true to the fundamentals of early Christianity, and applying its understanding in present context to revive the people of God towards building the societal utopia that we know as the kingdom of God.

Core Principles

  1. Sola Scriptura – the Holy Bible is the infallible authority, with the four Gospels of Jesus Christ serving as the foundation of our faith.
  2. Applied Christianity – only through practicing the radical teachings of Christianity can we serve as an exemplary light amidst the darkness.
  3. Repentance – we must follow the teachings of living according to the standards of God, repentance, and Pauline teachings of gentle upliftment.
  4. Traditions – the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostles’ Creed, and liturgies are preferred means to keep holy the worship of God. Holy means “set apart”, it is our strive to remind ourselves the whys and whats of our faith.
  5. Purity of Commune – the Commune must be a place of purity that can serve as a light to those in darkness. We do not believe in the inclusion of all ideas, as this may lead to the inclusion of said darkness itself.
  6. United Body of Christ – as Christians, it is our sacred responsibility to be gentle towards other Christian brothers and sisters, irrespective of their denomination. We consider a believer of the Nicene Creed to be a Christian.

Standpoints

  1. We stand against Christians involved in the persecution and oppression of other communities. Only LORD Jesus judges the living and the dead.

Similarly, we are in solidarity with the persecuted Christian communities across the world.
  1. We do not consider the LGBTQ community to be a part of the true Christian community. A man and a woman become one soul united in a holy matrimony. They possess the divine power of procreation, which we deem highly sacred.

NOTE: while we reject the LGBTQ propaganda, we love them whole-heartedly and cherish their lives. All lives and emotions matter enough to not be disregarded. Disagreements do not give us the right to condemnation or hostility.
  1. We do not support the polarised right wing/left wing politics. Our guiding principle comes from God, not from any political party. Our political support should ideally align with Christianity: social welfare and a moral governance model.
  1. We acknowledge the need for prophetic ministry including even provocative expressions. This should not be a practice in regular ministry to people needing the comfort of God, but we will speak the truth even if it’s harsh and doesn’t align with societal conformity. The flesh falls in temptation to the deception of the devil, we should not listen to its judgement.
